TEMPE, Arizona – Donald Trump was back in Arizona Thursday afternoon for another packed rally, filling up Mullett Arena at Arizona State University, a stadium that seats 5,000. Several speakers gave brief speeches first, including Kari Lake, Vivek Ramaswamy, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), and local congressmen Andy Biggs and Eli Crane.
Lake said during her talk that she heard Bill Clinton said she was “attractive” while he was in town stumping for her opponent for the U.S. Senate, Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ-03). She said, “I thought I was too old for him, doesn’t he like interns? … Nobody in their right mind wants to cross Hillary Clinton. It’s just dangerous.”
She spoke about CB1, an app created to help illegal immigrants find housing and jobs in the U.S. Lake said, “The app works both ways.” She said on January 25, after Trump takes office, they will use it to find the illegal immigrants and send them back home.
The crowd roared when she described Gallego as a “cop-hating, open borders, anti-woman opponent.” She ended her speech leading the crowd in a loud chant, “Vote, vote, vote, vote!”
Trump emphasized a theme of Republicans across the country, especially in Arizona and the battleground states, “too big to rig.” Republicans are chasing early ballots in order to pile up so many votes for Trump and Republican candidates that Democrats can’t defeat them by cheating.
The other theme Trump hit upon repeatedly throughout his speech was securing the border. He said “when Kamala came in [as border czar], she deliberately threw open our borders.” He reminded the crowd that the criminals aren’t just coming from South America anymore, but from 181 countries. “We’re like a garbage can for the world,” he said. He said the Border Patrol endorsed him last week, and told him Harris was “the worst.”
“When we win, the migrant invasion ends,” Trump declared. He played a video compilation about the status of the border, featuring Harris stating that she will not treat illegal immigration as a crime. He denounced the mainstream media for never moving their cameras to show the video when he plays it at rallies. “They’re just bad people,” he said, stating that the country needs a “free and fair press” instead.
He continued his attack on the mainstream media. “They’re the enemy of the people,” he said, then admitted, “I’ve been asked not to say that.” The crowd cheered.
Trump said 13,099 illegal immigrants with murder convictions were “set to prey on the U.S.” He said 425,000 have been released into the country. “She’s aiding and abetting the worst criminals in the world,” he lamented.
“The U.S. is now an occupied country,” he declared to loud booing from the crowd. However, Trump said November 5 will be “Liberation Day.” He said he will launch the “biggest deportation program in history,” and will “rescue every town that has been invaded and conquered.”
“We gotta get these animals out of here first,” he said. Trump vowed to invoke the 1798 Alien and Sedition Acts to remove them. He said he would institute the death penalty for illegal immigrants who kill American citizens. Trump said Harris recently stated that she opposes deportations, which he thought must have been a mistake on her part. “She’s a low IQ’d individual,” he explained.
He said if Harris wins the election there will be 200 million more illegal immigrants coming over the border. He said the U.S. will turn into Venezuela. Fifteen years ago it was thriving, he said. Now, “you can’t get a bottle of water.”
Trump said 100 percent of job creation now goes to illegal immigrants, creating a “job crisis” for blacks and Hispanics, the demographics affected the most. He blasted the 818,000 jobs that the government “fraudulently put on the rolls, as if they were newly created jobs. He said a whistleblower exposed the fraud, since the government had made plans to revise the numbers after the election.
Trump warned that due to the Democrats’ excessive spending, they will be forced to raise the eligibility age for Social Security.
Discussing foreign policy, he said “for 18 months we didn’t lose one soldier in Afghanistan” while he was president. Trump vowed to “stop the chaos in the Middle East and prevent World War III.”
In regards to environmental policy, Trump said he would “terminate the insane electric vehicle mandate.” He blasted the “green new scam,” and said instead, “Frack, frack frack and drill baby drill!”
Referring to how Harris replaced Joe Biden running for president, Trump said, “She was appointed by this guy because he has to go to sleep every night at 4 p.m.” He said Biden made a mistake the night before when he said “Lock ‘em up!” “He’s not allowed to say that,” Trump laughed.
He said the Biden administration has “weaponized our government,” a “disgrace to our country.” Trump listed off the ways the Democrats have come after him through lawfare, calling him a “threat to democracy.” He said they tried to get him kicked off the ballot in Colorado.
He noted that Harris was the last choice of 13 Democrats who ran for president in 2020. She performed so poorly that she dropped out of the race early.
Trump wrapped up his speech talking about X owner Elon Musk, who has been campaigning relentlessly for Trump in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania. He praised him for providing Starlink internet access to those ravaged by the recent hurricanes in North Carolina and elsewhere. He ended with the now famous line he said immediately after being shot in an attempted assassination last July in Butler, Pennsylvania, “We will fight, fight, fight!”
